There are two ways to embed a Heyflow into your Wix site:
Embed via Custom Elements (Recommended)
This feature is available on higher Wix plans and works best for full tracking support (e.g. GTM, UTM parameters) and more flexibility.Embed via HTML (Alternative)
This feature is available on all plans, but uses an iframe. It works for displaying the flow, but limited for advanced integrations.
๐ก Before we start, make sure to publish your flow before you embed it into your website. Only after you've published your flow is the embed script generated.
Embed via Custom Elements (Recommended)
Make sure your Wix plan supports Custom Elements.
โCopy the embed code from your Integrate > Embed tab in Heyflow.
โIn your Wix editor, go to the page where you want to embed your Heyflow.
โClick the Add (+) icon โ Embed Code > Popular Embeds > Custom Element.
Customize the elementโs tag and attributes to include your Heyflow snippet.
โPublish your site and you're good to go โ this method allows proper GTM and tracking support.
Embed via HTML (Alternative)
Copy the embed code from your Integrate > Embed tab in Heyflow.
โIn your Wix editor, go to the page where you want to embed your Heyflow.
โClick the Add (+) icon โ Embed Code > Popular Embeds > Embed HTML.
โResize the HTML box where your Heyflow will appear.
โClick Edit Code (top-left of the box) and paste your Heyflow embed code.
โClick Update, then Preview your site to see your flow live.
โ Important to note: The Embed HTML method on lower Wix plans uses an iframe, which restricts:
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Parameter forwarding (e.g. UTM tags)
Custom scripts that rely on the parent page
For full integration support, we recommend switching to Custom Elements (available on higher Wix plans).
