With Heyflow you can design flows and landing pages that align perfectly with your brand and make people click. You can match your flow to your brand identity by customizing anything and everything.

In this article, we will show you everything you need to know about the general design options for your flow theme in Heyflow.

In order for you to make designing your flow as easy as possible and consistent, our design is global. So whenever you make changes to your fonts or colors, they will be inherited in e.g. your blocks' design settings or headlines.

You can find the general theme options for your flow on the left via the paint brush.

You can easily integrate your brand's colors and choose a primary and secondary color. Either insert your colors in HEX, RGB or RGBA. These colors will be inherited to your blocks' design presets, which makes it easier for you to later change your design.

Also, you can set up your background color separately from your primary and secondary color or make it transparent. Instead of a background color, you can also upload a background image to individualize your flow even more.

You can integrate your favorite fonts from over 1,000 Google fonts in Heyflow. Don't worry, all the fonts are stored on our European servers, so they are 100% GDPR-compliant.

You can change your fonts in the design under Basics and select your default and secondary font family as your theme for the flow.

The Headlines section allows you to customize the appearance of all heading levels (like H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6) in your flow. You can adjust fonts, sizes, weights, colors, spacing, and more, ensuring your headings align with your brand’s tone and hierarchy.

You'll easily find and use your selected fonts from your Basic theme. Using your theme fonts will make it easier to change them globally via the Basic settings at a later point.

Under Text, you’ll find advanced options for fine-tuning how your text is displayed, including word breaking, hyphenation, link colors and decoration, selection color, and more. These settings help you create a polished, readable design down to the smallest detail.

Border settings let you define the look of container edges across your flow. You can customize the color, style (e.g., solid, dashed), thickness, and corner radius to create subtle separations or bold outlines depending on your design needs.

The Header section controls the visual and structural behavior of the top portion of your pages. You can set scrolling behavior, background and border properties, as well as minimum height; all of which influence how the header appears and behaves on desktop and mobile.

The Footer section controls the visual and structural behavior of the bottom portion of your pages. You can set background and border properties, as well as minimum height; all of which influence how the header appears on desktop and mobile.

In the Pages section, you can control how your pages animate. Easily adjust page transitions and the animation duration to match the mood and pace of your flow.
