Give your project a name (e.g., “Heyflow Onboarding Flow”).

Once created, Clarity will give you a Project ID. You’ll need this for the Heyflow integration.

Session Recordings – Watch how visitors interact with your flow step by step.

Engagement Metrics – Understand user behavior such as rage clicks, quick backs, or dead clicks.
Filters – Focus on specific user journeys (e.g., mobile users, visitors from certain campaigns).
Best Practices
General Tips
Use heatmaps to identify which flow elements attract attention and which might be ignored.
Check session recordings to spot confusing steps in your flow.
Combine Clarity data with Heyflow analytics for a full picture of performance.
Use filters to segment by traffic sources and see how different campaigns perform.
Cookie Consent & Compliance
When using Microsoft Clarity with Heyflow, it’s important to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (such as GDPR).
Clarity collects data about user interactions, which often requires user consent before tracking can begin.
We strongly recommend using a cookie consent banner or consent management tool in your Heyflow to ask visitors for permission before Clarity loads.
In Heyflow, you can use the Cookie Consent to manage this. Simply categorize Clarity under “Analytics” or “Tracking” cookies, so tracking will only start once the visitor has accepted.
💡 This helps you stay compliant while still gaining valuable insights into user behavior.
