Connect Heyflow to Claude via MCP

Step-by-step guide to connecting your Heyflow account to Claude as a custom connector.

Connect your Heyflow account to Claude to build, edit, and analyse your flows and pages straight from a Claude chat. Heyflow appears in Claude as a connector. Once it's set up, you describe what you need in plain language and Claude handles it in Heyflow.

⭐ Available in the following bundle: Core Bundle (incl. in all plans)

⭐ Available on the following plans: Basic, Pro, Agency, Business

👀 Not sure which plan you're on? Check your subscription here.

Before you start

You need:

  • A Heyflow account. Don’t have one yet? Sign up here.

  • A Claude account with access to custom connectors.

❗ If "Add custom connector" is greyed out, your Claude organization doesn't allow you to add connectors yourself. Ask your Claude organization's admin to add Heyflow for you.

Connect Heyflow to Claude

Add the connector

  1. In Claude, click your name in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Click "Settings".

  3. Click "Connectors".

  4. Click "Add".

  5. Click "Add custom connector".

  6. Enter "Heyflow" as the name.

  7. Paste this URL: https://mcp.heyflow.com/mcp

  8. Click "Continue".

  9. Leave the default settings as they are and click "Add".

💡 Claude detects the right settings for Heyflow automatically. "Sign in now" and "Register automatically" are already selected, so there's nothing to change on the second screen.

Authorize Heyflow

  1. On the Heyflow connector page, you'll see "You're not connected to Heyflow yet". Click "Connect".

  2. If Claude asks you to "Finish connecting a connector", click "Continue connecting".

  3. If you’re not logged in to Heyflow, log in with Google, Microsoft, or your work email and password, then click “Login and authorize Claude”.

  4. On the "Authorize Claude" screen, check you're logged in with the right Heyflow account and click "Allow". Claude takes you back to the Heyflow connector page. Heyflow is now connected.

💡 Logged in with the wrong account? Click "Logout" on the "Authorize Claude" screen and log in with the correct one.

Set your tool permissions

The Heyflow connector page lists every tool Claude can use in your Heyflow account, grouped into "Interactive tools", "Read-only tools", and "Write/delete tools". For each tool, choose one option:

  • Always allow: Claude uses the tool without asking.

  • Needs approval: Claude asks you before using the tool.

  • Blocked: Claude can't use the tool.

💡 Start with "Needs approval" for "Write/delete tools". You'll see every change before it happens, such as publishing, unpublishing, or deleting. Switch tools to "Always allow" once you're comfortable.

That's it. Heyflow is connected to Claude.

Connectors can sometimes become disconnected. Go to "Settings" → "Connectors" and check that Heyflow still shows as connected. If it doesn't, click "Heyflow" and then "Connect" to reconnect.

Heyflow shows as connected, but Claude still can't access your flows or pages.

Go to "Settings" → "Connectors" → "Heyflow", click "Disconnect", then connect again.
