Every published flow gets a default link automatically — no custom domain required. This gives you a working URL from day one and ensures your flow is always accessible.
💡 Tip: We recommend you connect your own domain to make your URL more professional and on-brand.

How does it work?
When you publish your first flow, Heyflow automatically creates a unique subdomain for your account. This subdomain is shared across all flows in your account and is randomly generated.
Your flows are accessible via:
subdomain.heyflow.page/yourflowidsubdomain.heyflow.site/yourflowid
Change Your Default Subdomain
You can replace the randomly generated subdomain with something that fits your brand — for example, your company name.
Go to "Organization Settings".
Under "Subdomain", enter your desired subdomain (e.g. your company name).
Heyflow checks if the name is available.
Click "Update" to save.
❗ Changing your subdomain affects all existing flow URLs in your account. Any links using the old subdomain will stop working immediately. Make sure to update all shared or published links after making this change.
Change a Flow's Path
The flow path is the part of your URL that appears after the domain name when using our default or dynamic domains. By default, this is usually your flow ID. You can personalize this "domain slug" to make your URLs more meaningful or branded.
1. Go to flow settings
Navigate to the General section within your flow settings.
2. Enter a new path
Type your desired path in the designated field. Make sure to use a unique path name, which is not used by another flow.
❗ Important: Please only use lowercase letters, numbers and valid special characters for your flow path. Uppercase letters and spaces are not allowed.
3. Save your changes
Click Update, and your new path will go live instantly! So please make sure to update your URLs accordingly.
That’s it! Your updated flow path is now visible to you and your visitors.
